4) Mist Trail in Yosemite
Without a doubt, Yosemite National Park is one of the most amazing places and has the most stunning natural landscapes in all of California, if not the United States. This glacial valley is home to some of the best hikes and most gorgeous views of any national park.
5) Taft Point in Yosemite
There are so many trails in Yosemite to choose from but Taft Point is one that shouldn’t be missed. An easy hike of only 2 miles and less travelled than some of the other areas, this trail ends at one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the entire park. The whole valley can be seen from the overlook but the main attractions are the rock fissures that cut into the granite. With sheer drops of more than 3000 feet to the valley floor, this hike is not for the faint-hearted or those who are afraid of heights. Be sure to watch your step and take great care at the end of the trail as only one of the fissures has a guard rail.
